Well, do you have any other parallel devices to test adapter. Does adapter show a LPT1 or did it install as LPT2 or another number. Does it have settings for type of parallel? "Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
