I have an NEC multisync 90GX2 monitor that has two usb ports on the side. These have worked fine up till recently when they stopped being recognised by the system. I checked that the lead from the monitor was plugged into the PC and even swapped the ports but this did not help. Recently I installed linux mint along side vista and the usb ports work fine when booted into linux. I used driver max to check for an update all my usb drivers but this has had no effect. I've looked in device manager under usb controllers and everything checkes out. Does anyone here have any ideas on things I could try to get these ports working again in vista?
