usb files gone missing

Specs: Windows Vista, t5550 duo 1,88ghz
I have recently bought a 16gb usb memory stick (FAT32), I have put 10gb of files on it. When i right click> properties it in my computer there is 10gb used and 5.6gb free (which is correct). However, when i double click the usb stick there is only 3.92 gb used...Where are my files?? please help me....

Your post is confusing a tad...

What types of files constitute the 10GB data that you allegedly copied to the drive & how many files exactly are you missing, if any & what are the attributes of the files you copied to the drive?

Are you also using the drive for ReadyBoost?

I copied 180 picture files to the memory stick which took up 10gb of space, i can only see 3.92Gb (70 photos) when i double click on the stick. My shows 10Gb used on the stick, where are the other 6Gb (110 photos) ???

Oh and ready boost isnt used and the files are jpg
