I recently got a new desk top, I am not computer savvy at all and when is comes to USB's its just another problem for me. I was using my USB drive on my new desk top and it worked just fine for the first couple of days. Now its asking me for a product key (what is that?) And now my UBS drive shows up but my documents are frozen, is it my computer or have I destroed my USB?

Time to take it to the shop maybe. ??

That message should never show on a usb device (unless special industrial).

Is this a usb flash drive or a type of backup hard drive usb connected?

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
