using IE 7 in vista
I clicked on a file from the internet and the windows download dialog box appeared
I chose to open it with an application and unticked the box stating "always ask me for this file type", which at the time was fine,
so from then on it just opened with the app i chose every time i clicked on that file typebut now I want to save that particular file type to disk and the ability to re-tick "always ask me for this file type" box is nowhere to be seen, or the ability to change what vista/IE7 does with this file type is nowhere to be seen
yes, i can change the default app it opens with, but that doesnt give me the option to save it to disk, it just continues to 'assume' i will forever more want to open with an app and not save to diskI have asked in many forums, some IE7 based, some Vista based and some MS based
NO ONE has ever been able to solve this problem without downloading tweak softwarethere must be a registry edit or something
I searched through the registry for hours and couldnt find anything to help methanks in advance

no one knows then?
anyone know where the registery setting for the tick box in vista is?
anyone know anything about it?so when i choose to save a file to disk, and untick the box "always ask for this file type" thats it, i cannot change my mind and then tell it to start asking me again?
