How can I keep the Icons on my desktop where I put them. it seems, when i reboot the icons all move to the left of the screen. where do I go to keep them in the same place,when i shut down and reboot

right click the desktop view and make sure auto arrange icons is off thats all i can think off i think. ----

unclick aline to grid as well, i'm pretty sure by defalt vista moves um all over on u after reset or log off Always back up...I JUST LOST 287 gigs entertainment!

apply auto arang then deselect it maby a reboot in between ----
