Uninstalling drivers

I cannot keep my sound card working, I have tried to delete the Legacy Audio Drivers but when I highlight the drivers the delete button stays Grey and I cannot remove the drivers I now have 3-4 sets of drivers for this and the Video and I cannot delete any of them. I suspect the sound card does not work because I have too many drivers for the same thing showing.
