Subject: Uninstalled Programs are still.....OS: VISTA BasicCPU/Ram: N/AModel/Manufacturer: N/A |
Comment: Uninstalled some Programs on my new Vista PC, but yet, the Programs are still listed in "Programs&Features". Trying to uninstall again results in an Error Message. How can I delete those Entries? Thanks.

Reply: (edit)MS has stunk in this regard for many years. Unless you used a product like Norton's or others that fully tracked all install the only for sure way is to do a clean install. Nuke it from high orbit, it's the only way to be sure man. "Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, are in my top 10
