Specs: Windows Vista
Hello there. I have a windows vista and had tried since last night to uninstall the program with the basic steps in uninstalling thru the add/remove program, which honestly I did not ask to have it. I was downloading a program to play the audio mail I received and this program came. Now everytime I click the uninstall uniblue registry booster 2011 only a frame appears asking to scan the registry faults thru registry booster to install with a question agree to install or Cancel. I clicked Cancel and the confirmation. Then thats all no move. The reason that I will remove it because they asked to pay and register it which I do not want to do. Please help me how to remove it. Thanks! Lowella.

Start off by right-clicking the spanner icon that should be in the System Tray - if it isn't there then start 'Task Manager' by pressing Ctrl, Alt & Del keys together and look down the list of 'Processes' for 'registrybooster.exe', select it and click 'end process, then have another go at uninstalling it from Control Panel/Programs & Features'

If that doesn't work then you can try installing CCleaner available for free from here. In the 'tools/startup' section look down the list for any reference to Uniblue programs - there may be more than one. Restart your computer and then try uninstalling it again, you can use CCleaner' uninstall section for this if you wish. If that works then run CCleaner's registry cleaner to remove any final bits.

If the uninstall doesn't work then manually delete the Uniblue folder from C:/Program Files, then run CCleaner's registry cleaner to remove the registry links.

Johnr thank you for the advise! I still have difficulty to remove the uniblue registry booster, so instead I did the system restore for a later date and it works. Eventually I will download the CCleaner that you recommended to use.
