When you installed the OS on the second drive did you remove the original drive beforehand? What is the boot order set in the BIOS? If you take out the original HDD, does the system boot to the OS on the Terabyte drive?

Are they both SATA, IDE or one of each?

When you install a new hard drive the computer configures THAT hard drive as the boot drive.

To solve this issue, enter the BIOS (setup) screens at startup by tapping the key shown on the startup screens.

Look for advanced startup options to change WHICH hard drive to boot from. Save the changes and exit.
