Well i use tweakhound.com. It is a website that will tell you what services to stop or disable, also it will tell you how to disable to the eye candy in vista. Jim R

First & foremost, we need to know your system specifications. If you have an obviously sub-par system with overall deficient components for Vista, then the advice you receive may not do you much good. Assuming you do have a machine capable to run Vista adequately, I'd suggest you update your installation to SP1. I never try how black vipers is working but so far I was very happy with the performance on my vista - the first I used vista was relly disappointing and planned to Downgrade for XP but finally i made it, Enjoyed all the Aero and Dream Scene with the Good performance on Vista OS , Faster Start Up and Shutdown, all that we need to do is modify some parameter on the Registry, For me, no OS can beat vista performance.
