I have a blue screen and cannot log on....can you help? My laptop failed to boot up and said it would need to be "repaired"...so I let it, but after 2-1/2 hours it was still repairing - I turned it off and now I cannot log on - ony a blue screen and cannot do anything. Dell Studio computer.
To clarify: are you experiencing BSOD? (Blue Screen of Death) If so, please post the error code shown at the bottom of the screen.
Can you provide a Vista setup disk?

I have the Operating System disk installled on computer when purchased from Dell.
My apologies....I'm guessing I don't have BSOD....AND....after leaving the computer on for awhile, the message: "Startup Repair is checking your system for problems...." began again....not sure how long it willl take, but I'm optimistic it will resolve itself once the "Repair disk errors." task finishes. fingers crossed!
