not a biggie... just curious.. i remember when i had the bubble screen saver set when i first got this new PC.. it would show the desktop/icons/taskbar... with the screensaver OVERLAYED... you could still see what you had open, time etc... i liked this.. but if you tried to move the mouse/type anything, you were prompted for the password (how i had it setup)
but now... when it starts.. i removes all but the wallpaper... icons are missing... taskbar missing/clock etc...
how do i get this back?

thanks

**Turn your CN images on**

I do not have that problem with my "bubble" screensaver (as shown in the image). The question is do you have the hidden desktop icon setting enabled?

You probably want to check just in case.

To show desktop icons

• Right-click the desktop, point to View, and then click Show Desktop Icons.

A check mark will appear, indicating that desktop icons are displayed on your desktop.

To hide desktop icons

• Right-click the desktop, point to View, and then click Show Desktop Icons to clear the check mark.

Note: Hiding all of the icons on your desktop doesn't delete them, it just hides them until you choose to show them again.

thanks for posting sabertooth...
did you hit preview? try setting it to kick on in 1 minute.. dont touch anything.. and see if it acts the same way as preview... tell me if you can still see your icons/taskbar etc... after it has kicked in after 1 min...

no, i can see desktop icons.. it is when the screen saver kicks in (bubbles) all icons vanish.. but wallpaper stays (i know there is a hack to have the bubbles appear on a BLACK backdrop.. or the desktop... i have it set to desktop... the screen flashes, icons disappear and bubbles pop-in on the lower left (by start)

when i preview screensaver.. it works fine... can see desktop/icons/taskmanager...
but when it actually kicks in, they all go away (all but wallpaper)
