Hello,
I have recently purchased a toshiba satellite with windows vista.
there is this programme called 'toshiba zooming utility' and is a real pain in the arse. whenever i use the touch pad it keeps minimizing the window and drives me mad.
i have tried customising it to try and stop it, but no success. i have tried deleting it and stopping its process via the alt ctrl del but still no joy.

You could try to contact toshiba customer support and ask them how to remove it, or you could go into add or remove programs and uninstall it from there.

i also have the same program. it is not the zooming utility, it is the Synaptics Touchpad.
Go to "control panel"
click on "Mouse"
click on the tab "device settings"
click "settings"
open the tapping menu
click on "tap zones"
uncheck the box that says "Enable Tap Zones"
click Apply
click Ok
