Specs: Windows Vista
my computer froze on me i tried restarting it and it just went to a lit black screen then restarted but it starts fine in safe mode ive ran anti viruses cleaned my regirsty several times i still have the same problem ive tried just about everything on google and toshiba site but nothing really dirictly to my problem i just want to try every option before i buy the recovery disk thank u

You may have installed something that Windows does not like. It's usually a device driver you just installed, or some software that installs a driver (third-party firewall, antivirus or cd-burning software all install their own drivers).

When you start in Safe Mode, Windows does not load any third-party drivers, so that means it is most likely one of those drivers that's faulty.

If you can remember installing anything like that very recently, uninstall it in Safe Mode.
