hi, i had to reset the bois on my mobo a couple of days ago and all went well until i tried to receive updates from windows. help for the issue said i needed to correct the time and synchronise with a server. i tried a couple of times to synchronise with no success, just reports of error. my internet works fine but ive also found that windows messenger will not connect either.. any help? thanks!

ive been tryin.. spose i didnt explain well but i was tryin to say that i attempted to update the time, sycin from windows but only get an error back.

Forget Update from windows.....just use you watch and a calender date, set your timezone and your done. Set it manually in other words ie click on the time in the rhs corner and then click on change date and time settings. Then do your updates afterwards once you set that up manually.
