I am having trouble reading web pages because the text is too small, I know I can go to view and increase text size, but ut is so boring and time consuming to keep doing it, the magnifier makes my eyes go all funny. I want to know if there is a way of selecting text size so that it remembers it. The article in Windows Vista September issue, "Make your PC easier to use" is very good, but doesn't solve my problem. Any ideas please.
Bear in mind that if you like Windows Vista Sidebars it will look huge at 800X600 resolution. Also Sidebar will not work at the lowest resolution 640X480. The optimum resolution for it is 1024X728 or higher.

I guess too small could be a subjective observation; depending on the user. There are a few users who complain about small text when operating my machine, but it is ok for me.
This is not so much a dilemma & you can resolve this fairly quickly by adjusting a couple of settings, which may or may not preclude the default display resolution of your monitor.

Summary: Thanks for the suggestions. I tried both. Neither worked. Also, please note that the problem is in pages that open from a link, not from the IE7 shortcut icon. Huh?...
