OS: vista sp1
CPU/Ram: amd

Event viewer has:
" Code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid. The file could be corrupt due to unauthorized modification or the invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error.

File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Windows\System32\drivers\tcpip.sys "

Google hasnt turned up much - anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Google found this - look HERE. It has something to do with Vista SP1 beta file hash that is not correct.

I know but don't expect M$ to contact you. Just uninstall SP1 beta and wait for the official SP1 to be delivered to you, supposedly this Tuesday.

If you are still able to post on here, my guess is: the problem may not be as critical as it seems. With that stated, I run Vista SP1 x64 here & can possibly email you a copy of the -- tcpip.sys -- file from my installation if you are running x64 as well. That way, you can replace your borked copy.
