Ok this is a strange problem i've had recently. I have my task bar down the bottom of the screen as usual with windows. *note* You know how when you minimise windows you have those little... rectangle blocks with the name of the program you minimised? I'll name those... MPs (minimised programs) i dont know the name for them. I usually have a few MPs, i move my mouse down and they've all shifted left off the task bar and they sometimes cover the quick launch area. Extremely unusual. At this point i cant seem to minimise/ maximise windows, its like they stop responding correctly. I scanned for Viruses and Spyware using the 2 AVG programs and found nothing. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you talking about the Minimize, Maximize and Close buttons that glow when your cursor passes over them in Vista taskbar? i_Xp/VistaUser

Hi, I am a vista home premium user, Eversince i got my vista, the task bar doesnt work properly and i have to restart the explorer over and over again...and once, it even stuff up my hard drive and i had to change it and luckilyt it was under the 2 months store warranty and i got a replacement but it is still the same with the task bar and i am worried that it will stuff up my hardrive agen and patches i can get to solve the problem??? email me at zul.sg@hotmail.com

Ok, say you minimise this window. You'll get the little tab like things on the task bar. (they're already there as soon as you open a window) When the window is open, the tab looks like its been pushed in, and when minimised, it doesnt. Down there, there those little tabs are, those all sometimes shift to the left for some reason and cover the start button and the quick launch icons. Does anyone know what the possible problem is? So, i don't think im refering to the minimise, maximise and close buttons. I i can get a screenshot, i'll post it up if i can.

I have the same problem and is really annoying cause i can't open anythihg not even the start menu. I have to use ctrl+alt+del to shut dowm the computer.Please somebody really knows what going on Im using vista home premium.... Oh God....
