this is my problem I want to do a system restore on my laptop but the system restore option is greyed out.Is their a way to turn it on again.I know that since its greyed out I cant do a system restore, but can I turn it on anyway?

1) have you tried in safe mode...???
2) have you tried sfc /scannow to verify your system files...???
