Comment: Hi. Here is my question. Currently I have a Windows XP desktop computer. I will be purchasing a Vista laptop in a month. Does Synergy work on Vista? If it does, will I be able to share a wireless keyboard and mouse plugged into the laptop with the XP computer? Also, when I take the laptop somewhere with me, is Synergy going to give me constant error messages because the desktop computer won't be available?

Reply: (edit)I've never used Synergy, but according to its bug tracker, Synergy should work "okay" on Vista if it's the server and you run it in user mode (a.k.a. no autostart/service mode).
