Hi to all, After waking up my laptop from hibernation, it often happens that I know from the fan noise that there is a high CPU activity. Then, if I look at the tasks, I can see a svchost.exe SYSTEM process eating up to 40% of CPU. I terminate the process and everything is fine again. Can anybody explain the reason for that ? Hi jefro, Thanks for your input. What puzzles me most is that killing the process has absolutely no bad influence, apart from releasing the CPU ! Anyway I can survive, as the problem does not show up everyday, and I know how to handle it.
