Not much you can do about that. Now, what is wrong with the machine?

I have lost all my sounds, and when I go to device manager, all that is there is a lot of entries for Litexmedia, and I can't find the system sound program at all.
There is no mention of it in programs and features, what the hell has happened.
Thanks for answering my call for help.

Have you tried reinstalling the sound driver?

Hi! Sabertooth,
I went to device mamager, and r/clicked on sound, and instead of getting update driver, all I got was scan for hardwsre changes and properties, and nothing happened with either.
Would it do any good to put my recovery disk in?

Yes & no!

If you have a driver disc included in your recovery disc bundle, then you want to use the driver disc to reinstall the sound driver.

What you don't want to do is stick in a disc that restores the machine to factory state -- as in how it initially came from the manufacturer, you don't want to wipe the machine for a driver issue.

Hi! chaps,
Re- Sound problem, I'm afraid no one on the forums could helpI had to go to Agora Publications for the solution, it seems that my sound system was taken over by rogue system, and I had to delete everything and reboot, and let the system re-install.
