Subject: Strange RAM problemOS: Vista Home PremCPU/Ram: Intel pent D core 2. 1152Model/Manufacturer: custom built |
Comment: Hello all. Strange question here... Lately whenever my PC is done booting up I see down in my taskbar (I have Memturbo running there) that my RAM is down to like 382mbs. I have to run Memturbo to regain my RAM. If I don't, my RAM is always hovering around there. I have very little running in the background to be eating that much RAM. I never had that problem before I installed Vista. Does anyone know what could be causing my RAM to drop down like that?? As you can see...I have plenty of RAM installed, but am thinking now of going to 2GB's. Any suggestions?? Viv Never enter a battle of wits with an unarmed person...

Reply: (edit)doesn't matter how much RAM you put in, superfetch will gladly use it all up. Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'
