Hello All! I have a strange problem with my DVD-RW. So, it successfully reads all discs, but doesn't write data to discs. It erases discs (but windows can't format it) and burns just audio discs (by windows), but not data? Problem was on Windows Vista, now I reinstalled to Windows 7 but I have same a problem. I tryed many burning programs include Nero, all say succesfully saved but no data on the disc, it's empty. Please help me.

seems that the cd-rom is bad you can try another one but first restart the computer and check the cd for the data our patience is big

Perhaps you need to get a bit more familiar with the two competiting burning techniques used in Vista and now Win7. It is (1) Live File System format (default) and (2) Mastered Disc format. Sorry "imperator" I was little confused too, because I thought that it's a problem with my device DVD-RW, but after I tryed write DVD-RW disc, it it burned successfully. So my problem is: my DVD-RW device doesn't burn data to any CD-RW disc, but it successfully burns DVD-RW discs and audio CD-RW.
