start button's position

is it possible to switch the positions of start button with the notification area: meaning start button on the right side of the screen instead of left and notification area on the left instead of right. if it is possible how would i do it.

I understand what you would like to do but I doubt you can do this without perhaps the use of a third party utility. I really have no idea if any exist.
