i have bought logitek g51 5.1 speakers and connected them up to my pc and configued them on both windows and realtek hd.but the when i use the speakers the sound comes out distorted.i have download the up to date driver for realtek and check the connections but the problem is still there.i hav alos had the same problem with other speakers.am wondering if its better to go back to windows xp.

Do you have on-board sound chip or separate soundcard ?

I suggest uninstalling Realtek drivers and restarting your PC and then re-installing the drivers.
