Sound mixers in Vista?

Hey, I was wondering if there should be any basic sound mixers in Vista like there were in XP? Like for recording device and playback device, there used to be different slides where you could drag up or down on eg. wave, volume, synthesizer, microphone...etc. I find it really odd that there is no such thing in Vista. :S
