Sound Card Error

Hi I have installed Windows Vista Premium 64 bit version on a 250 gig Sata Harddrive. Everything is working fine exeped I have no Sound. I am using an Onboard Audio 5.1 Channel AC97 Codec. I need help and advice what kind of Sound Card I should use. Thanks in advance Horst

In the book it tells me Realtek AC97 I keep on trying so far no sound. Thanks for the help

I installed the old harddrive back with Windows XP Pro 64 Bit version. The sound works in that one. But the sound will not work with the windows vista version which is the new harddrive connected to Sata Cable.
