?do u think it's even worth trying to install this pda --> just found it -think from 2000..all intact but no memory stick and of course that i don't have a serial port from my Hp dv9910 us notebook.and the hot sync I see so many people having problems...OR--should i just get something newer? i want to upload a drug formulary and a natural cures program//not interested in phones, dates or such.. thanks in advance, kj

You can't hotsync palm devices. See sony site or palm for the correct application to sync to computer. "Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

I didn't say get something newer. I meant that the MS application that came with xp doesn't talk to palm devices. Go to either palm or sony and download and install the application to access that device. Something like palm connect or what I forget the name.
