Hi! chaps, Can anyone help with this problem, I have an email account with sky.com, it says my username or password is incorrect, even though it's put in by them, my nephew, who is well up on computers, has set up the account anew, and changed the password, but it still says it is wrong.
My nephew has gone home and set it up on his own computer, and still gets the same error message, I know there are emails that I am waiting for, I have a hotmail account, but I have gave all my contacts my sky one.
I am hard of hearing, and I am not going to ring them, as I have so much trouble hearing people on the phone, and nine times out of ten I get a foreigner.
Does anybody else have or have had this problem, or know the address I could write to. I am 86 years old, and rely on my computer to keep in touch with my contacts.
Before this happened, it always said the username or password was wrong in red letters, but if it was ignored, and clicked on again, it would work, but not now.
Thanks in advance for any answers.
Worried

If it is happening on your nephew's system, you seriously need to be talking to Sky - it is strictly a credential problem that only they (Sky) can solve.

This is a SKY foible, it has happened to 3 clients, only resolved by them personally talking to Sky.

Thank you Sabertooth and Santa, I don't know how to contact sky about this problem, as I don't know the address to write to, I am hard of hearing, and can't understand some of them at all, you don't get many British people answer the phone, if one of you could provide the address to write to, I would be eternally grateful,
Sincerely Henry Willett

This may help.Goto www.thinkbroadband.com
click on FORUMS, then on that same page scroll down to 'Sky Users'
If you post a question there, they will, I believe, be able to give you an address to write to or offer another suggestion.
(reiterate it is not possible for you to hear on the telephone).

When you scroll down, it is actually Sky Broadband, not as I posted Sky Users but as you will see, it is a Sky user's forum.
Hope this will help.
