Show desktop with an F Key?

I was wondering if there was a way to assign an F key to act like the show desktop button on the taskbar. I want to be able to hit the F Key and bring up my desktop without using the mouse to hit the button. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

Yes but by the time you get it done I doubt it would be worth the effort. Not sure what happened to mapping special keys in windows. Seems vista has no native support. There are keyboard programs out there but not normally for things like desktop. Might have to contact the authors and ask that. I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.

How about Win+D to minimize all or Win+M to do the same. Win+D a second time will restore all but Win+M will not restore. (This works on WinXP anyway) HTH Bryan
