Subject: Setting Home Network VISTA nd XPOS: Windows VISTACPU/Ram: Athlton 1.7Ghz 1 GB RAMModel/Manufacturer: Dell |
Comment: Setting up a home network with windows vista and xp : Can someone please help me! I am trying to set up my home network after installing windows vista 2 on my desktop. I have a High Speed router and Dell desktop and a dell laptop. When I was using XP on both computers, everything went well. I was able to share internet connection using the router and share files and printer with the home network. Now since I installed the vista on the desktop, I can't see my laptop at all. When I go through vista (on the desktop), it only shows my desktop and the D-link router, no laptop. Idem for the laptop, it cannot see anything but itself. I tried running the vista home network connection wizard without success. I also used the jump drive to install on the laptop, without success either. Thanks for your very anticipated help, Krishna
