I recently got a new computer (Dell Studio XPS 1640) which is equipped with an HDMI output was was using it to watch movies on my tv through the extended monitor setup in Vista. The first night it worked fine, but since then I have not been able to get any image to display on the screen. Sound works fine and I can get the initial screens at start-up to show on my second monitor, but it seems once Vista loads and displays my login screen it stops working. I have updated my drivers and uninstalled and reinstalled all of them multiple times with no success. Any ideas whats going on?
Oh and the HDMI cable and monitor both work.
