Secondary HDD Not showing up

Ok, so I got this new backup sata drive that I got a couple days ago, but its not showing up in Computer in vista. The drive works, I just plugged it into another vista computer, and it comes up just fine via usb. But the drive will not show up on the computer that I am trying to get it to work on via usb or sata/esata.
A couple of things you should know:
This drive is and identical drive to my main HDD. I did format the drive using ntfs.
It seems a bit odd that neither usb or esata work on yours but works on another. Just out of curiosity is the other Vista computer 32bit or 64bit same as yours. Not that it should matter.

Got it fixed, thanks though. All I had to do was go into the bios and do an 'auto detect' for the drive in the bios.
