Specs: Windows Vista, q6600 @ 2.4 3 gig ram
I set my cpu to lock when I go to bed. I have room mates now and I dont want anyone on my PC. My question is a silly yet simple one. Can I have it setup some how to have a screensaver only when locked and not any other time? I am guessing this is not possible yet I am a computer moron so what do I know.

Actually you can. Go into your screen saver options and turn off your screen saver! When this is done, your screen saver will not turn on unless your computer is locked, at which point it will kick in after 10 minutes or so.

You can right click on your desktop, go to Personalize, go to Screen Saver, and under the type of screen saver select "None." Also, you can turn off the power settings so your computer will never go into sleep mode, you can do that through power options, however I would only suggest that if you have a good LCD and don't mind a power bill.
