Are there any files in the computing world where I can extract certain points of a video to save as a picture file. I have video which i made on my mobile phone and would like to take certain points from the video and save as a picture

All help is greatly appreciated

Go to this link and you can use this player to play the .3gp files, which is probably the format for your mobile phone, and it has a built in screen capture for taking what you want. I use it all the time.
