same pen drive seen as fat32 in one computer

Specs: Windows 7-Vista
I have two Toshiba laptops, one with Vista and another with Win7. In the Vista laptop pen drives and SD cards are seen as in RAW format system and I cannot open the files. In the other laptop the same SD cards and pen drives are seen as FAT32 and I have no problem to access my files. Is something wrong with my Toshiba-Vista?

If the W7 can read and write then we can assume it to be mostly OK. It may be that the Vista has some issue. Either software or hardware. I'd boot to a live cd and test it. If fails then you can suspect it to be hardware.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
