Comment:

I recently shut down my computer and
selected the "Install Updates and Shut Down"
option. Windows began installing updates (1/1)
in the normal fashion. About an hour later, I
came back and it said "Windows is shutting
down". This continued for an abnormally long
time so I pressed the power button on my
computer to turn it off. Now when I try to turn it
back on it comes up with an error
"SafeBoot has been corrupted (Error 92H)"

What should I do to recover my data on the
C:?

I have a desktop computer with:
Windows Vista Home Premium
4GB of RAM
Maxtor 300GB HDD
