hey ive just experienced a major problem (besides having vista) i installed the new kaspersky and when it wanted to reboot, it wont load into vista in normal mode at all. i just get the spinning wheel forever. i can boot into safe mode with networking, and can get online. i disabled all startup programs and it still wont boot normally into vista. also before rebooting, i tried to put a zonet cardbus for 2 usb 2.0 ports into my notebook, and when it went to install the drivers it completely froze up and i needed to turn it off and back on. these are the only 2 changes i can think of that have been made between boots. just wondering what i should try next to alleviatye this problem. i cant do a system restore because mine doesnt work and has no restore points for some odd reason.

I guess the first thing I'd try is uninstalling kaspersky from safe mode... and if that fixes things.... then don't install kaspersky.

As a tip... you can also make your own restore points. Sometimes I'll make my own just before installing a program I'm not sure about.

Goto Start, in the search window enter msconfig, click the Startup tab and try deselecting the kaspersky items.
