Runtime Error suggestion was IE 7 corrupted

Dell / INSPIRON 530S

An older message regarding a runtime error was that it meant IE was corrupted, etc. The suggestion was to uninstall and reinstall; I don't have the disk, it came on my Dell Inspiron. Will I be able to access the www thru my ISP to get to Dell to download IE 7 again if I do unistall the current software loaded on my computer or do I have to purchase the CD?

if you can access any computer with internet you can search the net for the full install files for IE7 or better yet IE8, you can try unistalling first, but on install the new install will see the old one and remove it. Re-installing should fix that.
