i noticed a few processes running which werent there a few days ago, and wondered if i need them at all..... x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k LocalServiceNoNetwork x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k DcomLaunch x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k rpcss x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k GPSvcGroup x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k SDRSVC x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k LocalService x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k NetworkService x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k imgsvc x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k LocalSystemNetworkRestricted x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k NetworkServiceNetworkRestricted x:\windows\system32\svchost.exe -k LocalServiceNetworkRestricted x:\windows\system32\SLsvc.exe x:\windows\system32\wbem\unsecapp.exe -Embedding i dont know what the "network restricted" one is all about, cant be my broadband cos its working fine. anyone know what they are, and if i really need them as startup seems to be taking just a bit longer than usual these days Windows Vista™ Ultimate (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.93GHz 2038MB RAM Maxtor 6Y160M0 150GB Hitachi HDP725025GLA380 250GB
