RunDll32 problem

CPU/Ram: intel pentium
Product: acer aspire T-671

I bought a new pc from ACer, but having a few problems have phoned them and all they told em todo was reset back to factory settings what a waste time this was.Anyhow the problem im having is when i download a film and try to play it on any player it comes up error rundll32 sommit like that , does anyone know how i can fix this please im using Windows Vista

try locating that file in search.
rename it to
rundll32.old
reboot, windows will load new file

I had exactly the same problem, the solution is to locate your system32 folder, open it and rename these 2 files:


lmpgd10.ax
lmpgspl.ax

All I did was put a 1 in front of the file name, now I don't have the run32.dll problem.

im running vista home and had the rundll32 error come up so did a system file check using command prompt,run as administrator,then type sfc/scannow.i had corrupted files,dunno how but it sorted the prob,hope it helps
