Well the reason this is a problem is because i play games. Suddenly, my router (dlink-604) is lagging me big time in the game. I just hooked up my computer straight to the modem and it's fine. But through my router it lags. I just recently bought magic jack, not sure if any of you know what it is, but it's like skype and lets you talk over your computer. I thought maybe it was skype so i restored my computer to get rid of the program but it's still doing it... i'm wondering if maybe it did something to my router? I don't know what info you need so please ask me and i'll reply.

It sounds like you need a new router.
