i have added a bible script to appear and i want to get rid of it my google home page is messed upo what do i do

I'm guessing it's some sort of extension in Chrome so click the 'customize' button (top right, 3 horizontal lines), then choose 'settings' and on the left select 'Extensions'. Disable the one you don't want. If it isn't listed then back on the main settings screen, under 'Appearance' click the 'reset to default theme'. If this still doesn't change things then it may be a program you have downloaded in which case look for it in 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' and uninstall it.

Hi janone,

As rightly mentioned by "johnr " you can check if it is an extension that is causing the issue.

Also, you can reset Google Chrome using the link mentioned below:

Download the file and run it.

It will reset the chrome to default settings.

NOTE: Ensure that all Google Chrome tabs are closed before you reset chrome to default settings.
