My computer had a few issues and I was told restoring to factory settings could help. So I backed up all my files and went through with the process. Now my computer will NOT boot!! I get to the microsoft corporation load page and thats it. I cannot boot in safe mood either. When I attempt to I recieve a msg telling me that windows installation can not occur in safe mood please restart your computer. Then it restarts. I have read a million forums and talked to a few ppl so far I have not got much help. PLZ ANYONE. i just bought this desktop it is very nice. I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks!!

How did you attempt to recover it. Did you use CD/DVD or some F key or some boot option or did you use a program from windows?

Sometimes when these things fail, both the original and the recovery, it may mean some ram issue or other hardware issue is at fault too.

What were the problems you were having before you formatted your computer?

The DVDs you used, did they come with the computer or did you have HP send them to you?
