The icons in my Start Menu (left side) are smaller than they were in WinXP. Is it possible to resize them manually?

I know there's a "Use small icons in Start Menu" option, but I want them bigger. I'm hoping I can incrementally resize them like I can do with the Desktop icons.

Same deal with the Quick Launch buttons. By unlocking the Taskbar, I can right-click the Quick Launch area and the View/Large Icons menu is there, but even though Large Icons is ticked, the icons just aren't big enough (I've made my Taskbar taller than most, to fit in more Time & Date info).

I like how I can personalize the Desktop icons, either by adjusting the icon size by increments of one in the Advanced Display menu, or doing the 'CTRL + Mouse Scroll Wheel' trick... but can this also be done with the Start Menu & Quick Launch icons?
