What do I need to do with my OS if I want to upgrade my Mother Board, CPU, and RAM while keeping my old Hard Drive?

Reinstall it. The hardware configuration will relate to the old hardware.

If your version of Windows came pre-installed (SLP) on a brand name OEM computer, it MAY or may not work. The copy of Windows in this case is keyed to the motherboard. Changing it may stop Windows from working.

At any rate, you most likely will need to re-install.

If you post the original specs or model number we may be able to tighten up the answer.
