Hello All. A number of my colleagues have purchased new computers, PC and Laptops. Although they are very happy with the equipment, they have found the Vista Operating System to be nothing but a problem. So, the operating systems have been wiped off the hard drives and Windows XP has been installed. Now the new hardware performs great with a stable and reliable operating system. my question now is, can any of us get reimbursment from Microsoft or the computer manufacturer for the Operating System that as a consumer we didn't want? Any ideas???

What do you mean you didn't want it??? You bought the machine didn't you or did some one put a gun to your head and force you into buying?
You knew full well that Vista was on the machine and you bought it any way.. it was YOUR choice. And instead of simply returning the machine, you took it upon yourself to replace vista with XP
Gee... I don't like the speakers that came inside my new Sony TV.... I think I'll replace them with whatever I feel like, and send Sony the bill.
And they'll sure pay it too. ;)
