i install vista with winxp, i want to remove vista from my pc but problem is how to remove windows boot manager, i format vista drive but then it show windows boot manager.win xp is still thier........

Jam,

That page provided very easy instruction that worked a treat for me yesterday to uninstall the Vista Boot Manager.

In addition to those instructions; if the partition that Vista was installed upon is an "Active" partition then that partition must be deleted before formatting.

Additionally, the modified boot.ini remaining is not the same as the original prior to installing Vista.

I simply copied back my original boot.ini and all is fine.
